SMAT 212B Analytic Geometry and Calculus II
[LCCN: CMAT 2124, Calculus II: 4 credit hours] The second course of a three-course sequence. Much attention is given to finding integrals (definite, indefinite, and improper) for a wide variety of basic functions symbolically, graphically, and numerically; some applications are covered. Taylor polynomials and series are included.
Prerequisite
Grades of "C" or better in SMAT 121B (MATH 135) and
SMAT 122B (MATH 140) or
SMAT 123B (MATH 160) or the designated placement test score. Grade of "C" or better in
SMAT 211B (MATH 264).
