MEEN 252B Introduction to CADD

252B. INTRODUCTION TO COMPUTER-AIDED DRAFTING AND DESIGN (CADD) (Credit, 3 hours) (Lec., 2 hours; Lab, 3 hours). This course introduces the fundamentals of computer-aided design and drafting using AutoCAD. Students learn basic engineering graphics, including geometric construction, orthographic and isometric views, dimensioning, and sectioning. Emphasis is placed on creating and editing accurate 2D/3D drawings and applying standard drafting practices for effective engineering communication.  Prerequisites: CIEN 224B.
