This course focuses on the conceptual framework of culturally sustainable school leadership. It prepares aspiring leaders to balance school management for achievement accountability and school leadership for equity. Learners will develop self-efficacy to identify and address inequities in key school programming areas; budgeting, recruitment and retention, scheduling, discipline, curriculum, and instruction. It also focuses on research-based school leadership approaches to engage parents and community in leadership for equity in schools.
