"220. EDUCATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY (Credit,3 hours).

An introduction to the psychological principles and theories that explain learning, motivation, cognition, human development, behavior, and individual differences across educational settings. The course examines cognitive, behavioral, developmental, humanistic, and motivational perspectives and their application to learning and instruction. Emphasis is placed on understanding how psychological principles influence teaching, learning, classroom environments, assessment, and educational outcomes within diverse populations. Students will explore evidence-based strategies for promoting effective learning, motivation, classroom management, and the assessment of student learning.
