CMPS 426B Network Security Fundamentals

This course covers the principles of network security. The focus will be given to the following: attack methods (targeted hacking attacks, denial-of-service attacks), firewall architecture, host security, cryptography, e-commerce and email security, intrusion detection and response process, risk analysis, security architecture, control principles, and laws governing security issues.
