402. INSTRUCTIONAL PRACTICES IN SPECIAL EDUCATION (Credit, 3 hours). The focus of this course is on instructional approaches, strategies, and materials for addressing the academic needs of students with disabilities. Students will learn how to use data to make instructional decisions and monitor student growth in the areas of mathematics, science, and social studies. Assignments include 20 hours of observation and participation in school-based field experiences.
