430. TOBACCO PREVENTION SEMINAR (Credit, 3 hours). Examines the historical, economic, political, and public health impact of tobacco use in the United States. Topics include the economic role of the tobacco industry, marketing practices, tobacco regulation and policy, and evidence-based prevention strategies. Prerequisite: SPSY 201B: General Psychology with a minimum grade of C.
