CRIN 213B Global Perspectives in Education
213. GLOBAL PERSPECTIVES IN EDUCATION (Credit, 3 hours). This course examines issues of culture, race, class, gender, and exceptionality in education. Emphasis is placed on understanding the educational implications of cultural pluralism, addressing stereotyping and discrimination, and developing inclusive teaching practices. Candidates will explore culturally responsive pedagogy and work toward eliminating bias in schools. Includes 20 hours of required field experience.
