PHYS 462B Space Physics
A quantitative, introductory survey course covering selected topics in modern astrophysics, including the solar system, the sun, stars and stellar systems, galaxies, relativity, and cosmology. Areas of current scientific interest and research are emphasized, along with a review of present-day observational techniques. The course also examines the overlap between astrophysics and other areas of modern physics, such as high-energy physics, particle physics, and space physics.
