CMPS 110B Computer Science Seminar I
This course is the first-part sequence designed for freshman computer science majors. It provides an overview of the scope and dynamics of computer science, including the history of computing, computers in modern society, applications, and legal and ethical issues. Emphasizes foundational cognitive and problem-solving skills, as well as communication and collaboration. A term project is required.
