SMED 726B Evolution & Science Education

SMED 726. EVOLUTION AND SCIENCE EDUCATION (Credit, 3 hrs). This course is designed for students already knowledgeable about the theory of evolution. The course explores the history and philosophy of evolutionary thought, its impact on science and society, and particularly how the topic of biological evolution is inculcated into the National Science Education Standards.
