Accredited Academic Programs

The University’s graduate educator preparation programs, including the Master of Education in Educational Leadership; the Master of Arts in Teaching MAT Multiple Levels, with concentrations in Business Education, Early Childhood, Elementary Education Grades 1 to 5, and Health and Physical Education; and the Post Baccalaureate in Elementary Education Grades 1 to 5, are approved by the Louisiana Department of Education (LDOE) and accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).

The master's degree in speech-language pathology is accredited by Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA) in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology of the American Speech-language-Hearing Association.

The master's degree in Family Nursing and the Doctor of Nursing Practice are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.

The master's degree in Business Administration is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).

The master's degree in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling is accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP).

The master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling is accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP).

The master's degree in Public Administration is accredited by the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA).
